The Skills
Our world is changing rapidly and so are the jobs as well as challenges we are going to face, and therefore, our children need to be prepared for this future. UpStudio nurtures six skills that help children to be versatile, holistic, and ethical human beings for today and tomorrow’s world: critical thinking, communication, creativity, collaboration, confidence, and compassion.
CRITICAL THINKING
The ability to identify innovative solutions to any problem by structuring the problem, conducting thoughtful research, and testing and refining solutions.
CREATIVITY
The ability to innovate, think outside the box, and adapt in solving problems – stepping beyond the way things have always been done
COMMUNICATION
The ability to communicate problems, ideas, and innovative solutions that are concise and can capture an audience
COLLABORATION
The ability to work with others, build and share existing and new knowledge, and learn to compromise
CONFIDENCE
The ability to think boldly, take initiative, and never be afraid to make mistakes. All explorers get to present to their peers
